Motus Terms of Service

Last updated: September 15, 2026.

By signing in or using Motus (“the app”), you agree to these terms.

The service

Motus helps a moving company draft estimates and invoices, pack trucks, track time, and sync documents to Google Drive. Each company uses its own Google account. The host provides the software and a shared Maps integration; your documents stay in your Drive.

Accounts

You must sign in with Google. The first person to create a company is the owner. Owners may invite staff by email. You are responsible for activity under your Google account and for who you invite.

Your data

You retain ownership of files in your Google Drive. You grant Motus permission to create and update the files it needs (the Motus folder, hours sheets, and related documents) and to create calendar events you request. Public share links expose the documents you choose to share with anyone who has the link.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Motus, attempt to access another company’s data, or use Maps or Google APIs in ways that violate Google’s terms. The operator may suspend access for abuse or security risk.

No warranty

Motus is provided as-is. Estimates, tax suggestions, fuel prices, and maps are tools—not professional advice. The operator is not liable for lost jobs, Drive changes, or downtime beyond what applicable law requires.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. The date at the top of this page is the latest revision.
